Investment Criteria
LifeX Ventures is dedicated to investing in innovative companies in the life sciences sector, encompassing Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, Diagnostics, and Digital Health Solutions. Our strategic focus centers on early-stage startups and promising established companies spanning from pre-seed to seed development phases. We actively seek out and support early-stage companies with innovative solutions, whether they involve pioneering technologies, unique therapeutic approaches, or disruptive business models, fostering advancements in the dynamic field of life sciences.
Diligence
After applying, a LifeX Ventures investment team member will review and inform the company of our interest. If the company aligns with our investment guidelines, follow-up from our investment team will occur. At that time, the due diligence process is initiated, with an introductory call, then progressing to a pitch presentation if the company is deemed suitable for further consideration. Upon initial approval, the company enters an intensive due diligence phase, including a comprehensive data room review to ensure a thorough evaluation is completed before any potential investment.
Compliance
LifeX Ventures is committed to supporting early and mid-stage life sciences companies, ensuring rigorous compliance with health regulatory authorities and ethical guidelines. Our pre-seed and seed investment criteria prioritize companies with innovative solutions that address our strategic requirement for investments, as we aim to de-risk life sciences ventures, by fostering their growth within the bounds of regulatory and ethical standards.
